# How To Use This?

Using the PSStrategyX trading tool is a straightforward process that requires a few key steps.

1. The first step is getting setup. You can do that by going --> [Here](/tools/setup-instructions/overview.md).
2. Once you are set up all you'll want to tweak the [settings](/tools/settings/signal-detection.md) to get the best backtest results. Check out "[How To Get The Best Strategy Results](https://pinescriptstrategy.com/how-to-get-the-best-strategy-with-psstrategyx/)" if you need help with that.
3. If you are satisfied with your strategies performance you'll want to create an alert. You can check out ["How To Create An Alert?"](/tools/tips-and-tricks/how-to-create-an-alert.md) for more information.
4. Finally, keep your computer open and[ let the strategy run in realtime](/tools/tips-and-tricks/live-monitoring.md). When alerts are triggered, AutoView will detect the changes and automatically route your orders to your exchange.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pinescriptstrategy.com/tools/start-here/overview/how-to-use-this.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
